Privacy Policy
Effective September 2, 2026 · Last updated September 2, 2026
This policy explains what information Qualvix LLC, doing business as Max Builds Sites ("we," "us," or "our"), collects when you visit this site or become a client, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website and to the information we collect when you contact us, ask us to build a site, or subscribe to our services. It does not cover third-party websites we link to, or the separate privacy practices of businesses whose websites we build and host — see Section 6.
2Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, email us, or call us, we collect what you choose to send — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details of your inquiry. If we build a site for you, we also collect the business information needed to build it, such as your services, hours, service area, licensing details, logo, and photos.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card or bank details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. We do receive limited billing records from Stripe, such as your name, billing address, the last four digits of your card, and your payment history. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This comes from server logs and, where enabled, analytics tools.
3How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and build a website for you
- To host, maintain, and update your website
- To process payments, send invoices and receipts, and manage your subscription
- To send service-related messages, such as billing notices and maintenance updates
- To understand how our site is used and improve it
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We may send you occasional marketing emails about our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Service and billing messages are not marketing and will continue while you are a client.
4How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only in these situations:
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Hosting and infrastructure providers | To publish and serve websites, and to deliver form submissions |
| Stripe | To process payments and manage subscriptions |
| Email and analytics providers | To send messages and measure site usage |
| Professional advisors | Accountants and attorneys, as needed |
| Legal and safety | When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety |
| Business transfer | If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction |
5Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, most browser tracking signals will not change how we handle your data.
6Websites we build for clients
We design, host, and operate websites for other businesses. If you submitted a form on a website we host for a client — for example, a quote request to a local contractor — that submission is forwarded to the client business, and that business decides how to contact you and how to handle your information. We act as a service provider in that relationship, and we do not control the client's privacy practices or marketing. Direct requests about that information to the business you contacted.
We may retain form submissions and server logs from client websites as part of operating and securing those sites.
7How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward, and longer where we are required to for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Billing records are typically retained for at least seven years. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
8Nevada residents
Nevada law (NRS 603A.340) gives Nevada consumers the right to tell certain website operators not to sell their covered personal information. We do not sell covered information as that law defines it, and we have no plans to. If you would like to submit a verified opt-out request anyway, email us at the address in Section 13 with the subject line "Nevada Opt-Out" and include your name and the email address you used with us.
9California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that we delete or correct it, and request details about how it is used and disclosed. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email us at the address in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
10Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and limiting access to the people who need it. No website, server, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full financial account details through our contact forms.
11Children's privacy
Our services are directed to businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us at the address in Section 13 and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify clients by email. Your continued use of our site or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
